Symbols of Pikesville Patriotism
Patch Contributors William Bell and Maurice Waters visited the Pikesville Military Reservation and Greenspring Station shopping center on a clear Wednesday afternoon.
Melting snow has made part of this sculpture darker than the rest. This is one of two Eagles on pillars that flank the former entrance to the Pikesville Armory. They face Reisterstown Road.

Winter has left the trees and landscapes pretty barren around Pikesville.
But the sunshine and warmth last week indicates that spring is on the way.
Budding trees and melting snow yesterday at the Pikesville Armory were even further indications of the re-approaching warm weather.
The winds finally calmed yesterday, and the sky was clear of clouds. But a breeze blew just enough to get the flag to wave at Greenspring Station off Smith Avenue.
