UPDATE: Thunderstorm Passes Through Pikesville

It looks as if another thunderstorm is in the works, and the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning this evening for Baltimore, Carroll and Harford counties.

 

UPDATE (11:15 p.m.)--The thunderstorm did come through Pikesville quickly, but not at the severity the forecast had said was possible.

It's a cool 61 degrees outside, with a low of 57 degrees possible, according to the National Weather Service forecast for the area including Pikesville.

Monday will be partly sunny, with thunderstorms possible after 2 p.m.

The high Monday could be about 74 degrees, the forecast states.

(Original story 7:30 p.m.) Clouds have overtaken the sky over Pikesville, and the temperature has dropped.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Baltimore, Carroll and Harford counties, through 7:45 p.m.

The storm could include damaging wind of up to 60 mph, the forecast states.

"This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path, move indoors to a sturdy building and stay away from windows," the warning states.
