Quarry Bagel & Cafe Rolling Again

The popular restaurant is open again after being closed since Memorial Day.

It was during business hours on Memorial Day when a sprinkler pipe burst at Quarry Bagel & Cafe, causing the eatery to close for weeks.

Now the restaurant, voted by Pikesville Patch readers as having the best sandwiches in Pikesville, is open again for business.

At lunchtime Monday, the restaurant was packed with customers.

Since June 17, owner Geoff Friedman has been serving up his regular menu, including a variety of bagels and cream cheese, sandwiches, lunch platters, and dinners, including crabcakes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Quarry Bagel & Cafe is open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday; 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; and 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, according to an employee.
