Don't rush to the post office today. It's closed.
As the US celebrates the federal holiday Memorial Day, there are more offices and services that are also closed.
For example, there will be no trash or recycling pick up in Baltimore County today, according to a news release from the county executive's office.
If your trash or yard waste are usually picked up on Monday, leave it out because it will be picked up on Tuesday, the release states.
But hold your Monday recyclables for pickup next week, Monday, June 4.
Throughout the week, trash in the county might be picked up later than usual.
The rule of thumb? Leave it out until it's picked up, the release states.
Trash and recycling centers are also closed on Monday.
