Randallstown Popeye's Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

A robber made off with cash from a Randallstown drive-thru register last weekend.

At 11:20 p.m. Saturday, a man came in through a side door at the Popeye's restaurant at 8505 Liberty Rd., according to a Pikesville precinct police report.

The man, who had a gun in his jacket, demanded money from the clerk there, according to the report.

The clerk handed the robber the drive-thru cash-register drawer with an unknown amount of money in it. The robber took it and ran out the side door, across the parking lot, according to the report.
