The man in the police photograph entered the Shell gas station at about 9 p.m., Sept 27, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money, according to a police statement.  The gunman fled the store in the 2800 block of Smith Avenue in Pikesville with about $300 in cash.

The police described the man as 6 feet tall, thin build, about 45 to 50 years old, with brown eyes, a medium complexion and short black hair.
