A young person, about age 20, was struck at the intersection of Park Heights and Slade avenues, Baltimore County Police say.
Baltimore County Police say a young person was struck by an MTA bus Saturday afternoon and died.
The fatal incident occurred at the intersection of Park Heights and Slade avenues in Pikesville, said Cpl. R. Carmen, with the police communications center.
The call came in to police at 4:32 p.m., he said. "The call came in as a person struck by a bus." And a police report confirmed that it was an MTA bus. "The subject is still under the bus, not trapped," he said, reading from the report written earlier this evening.
Police estimate the victim was about 20 years old.
The victim's name, exact age, gender and the time when the victim died were not not immediately available.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Team, headquartered in Parkville, is investigating the incident, Carmen said.
An officer who answered the phone Saturday night at the team's offices referred questions back to the communications center.
