Police: Neighboring Employees Scuffle Over Trashcan, Wood
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Employees at two Festival at Woodholme restaurants got into a scuffle Tuesday over a trashcan set out back, police say.
At about 2:30 p.m., Baltimore County police were called to the Corner Bakery Cafe where an employee told police that someone at Al Pacino Cafe had wood stored in a Corner Bakery trashcan.
Police told employees of both stores, located next door to each other in the Festival at Woodholme shopping center, that it's not a matter for police, but they should work together, or stay away from each other.
At 3:21 p.m. the officer went back to Corner Bakery for another call. An employee said that an employee from the other restaurant had struck him.
According to the report, a Corner Bakery employee "had a small laceration behind his ear as a result of the assault."
No charges have been filed.
The Festival at Woodholme is located at 1809 Reisterstown Road.
