A bail bondsman trying to execute a warrant allegedly was assaulted Friday while he was in his car.
At 6:21 p.m., the bondsman asked police to come to a home in the 4100 block of Windmill Circle where he and two other bondsmen were trying to execute a warrant against Randallstown resident Joseph Paul Wilson, 21, according to a report by Baltimore County police.
It was a "narcotics call," the report states.
While the bailbondsmen attempted to execute a warrant, Wilson allegedly "used his vehicle to ram (the) victim's ... vehicle," it states. The victim was still inside it.
According to court records, "Wilson was also in possession of marijuana at the time."
Wilson was charged with first- and second-degree assault, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, the records state.
He was released March 9 from the Baltimore County Detention Center on $35,000 bond.
