Pikesville Crime: Burglars Target Unlocked Vehicles Overnight

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

Pikesville

Greenlea Drive. Unit block. Between 7:20 p.m. Jan. 17 and 6:39 a.m. Jan. 18. A resident found that their glove box had been opened, and items scattered throughout the vehicle. A GPS system, cash and lottery tickets were stolen.

Greenlea Drive. Unit block. At a different residence. Between 11 p.m. Jan. 17 and 7 a.m. Jan. 18. A vehicle owner noticed that their glove box had been opened and everything in it was on the passenger seat and floor. Nothing was stolen.

Old Court Road. 2600 block. Between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 17 and 9 a.m. Jan. 18. Items were stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway of a home. A GPS system, a tire changing kit and two pair of sunglasses were stolen.

Brickford Lane. Unit block. Between 5 p.m. Jan. 17 and 10 a.m. Jan. 18. A vehicle owner found that someone had rifled through the contents of her vehicle. Also, the shed door at her home had been opened. Nothing was stolen.
