Pikesville Crime: Burglar Steals Bikes from Balcony

Two bicycles were stolen from a second-floor balcony recently in Pikesville.

Between 5 p.m. Nov. 17 and 3 p.m. Nov. 18, a burglar stole two bicycles, worth $1,200, from an apartment in the 2000 block of Fitzwarren Place, according to a report from Baltimore County police.

"There was no evidence that an attempt was made to gain entry into the apartment," it states.

Pikesville

Rocky Lane. Unit block. Between 6:30 a.m. and 6:52 p.m. Nov. 18. A burglar stole two machines from a shed in a backyard. The resident saw a man with a truck at his house, and noticed that the shed lock had been damaged. Police searched but could not find the suspect. A generator and an air compressor were stolen.

Streamwood Drive. 8100 block. Between 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 11. A burglar got into an unlocked truck and stole some money.
