Pikesville Crime: Thief Uses Unlocked Door as Opportunity

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

Pikesville

Bedford Avenue. 1500 block. Between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 to 6:45 a.m. Oct. 22. A burglar pried open the door to the rental office at Weinberg Apartments, ransacked an office and stole a computer and a skeleton key.

Eden Roc Court. Unit block. Between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 5 p.m. Tuesday. A burglar stole a pink bicycle from a carport.

Eden Roc Way. 7700 block. Between 12:03-6:25 a.m. Tuesday. A burglar entered three unlocked vehicles in the driveway of a home and stole two flashlights, a Garmin global positioning system and a handicapped parking placard.

Old Crossing Drive. 100 block. Between 9 p.m. Oct. 22 and 8:15 a.m. Oct. 23. A burglar came through a locked security gate and tried unsuccessfully to get into a home through a sliding glass door. The burglar did get through an unlocked garage door and rifled through a vehicle. Nothing was reported missing or damaged.
