The Doctor's Express Summer Fest attracted about 1,500 festival goers, according to a Baltimore Jewish Times report.

The Pikesville Chamber of Commerce event was coordinated by Jay Harris Promotions.
There was live music, an antique car show, garden and flower vendors and a martial arts demonstration by Joe Palanzo's Kenpo Karate.
Upcoming chamber events, according to the chamber website, include:
- Farmers Market, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each Tuesday through Nov. 13, at the Office Depot parking lot, 1630 Reisterstown Rd.
- Miles That Matter Pikesville Race/Walk, July 15 at The Festival at Woodholme, 1809 Reisterstown Rd.
- Brown Bag Lunch, noon July 10 at Springhouse of Pikesville assisted living, 8911 Reisterstown Rd.
- 2nd annual Fall Festival, Sept. 23 at The Shops at Quarry Lake, at Quarry Lake Drive off of Greenspring Avenue.
