During Hurricane Sandy, branches fell from the large trees in front of Pikesville High School. School was canceled Tuesday, the day after the worst of the storm passed, but classes resumed Wednesday.

Pikesville High School appeared to be fine Tuesday after Hurricane Sandy passed through, with only drizzle left. There were some branches down in the front of the school. Inside the school however, the lights were on, indicating that there IS power at the school. Sorry Panthers!

The waterway is swollen Monday as Hurricane Sandy arrives in the Pikesville area.

Shops were open and traffic lights were in working order Tuesday afternoon on Reisterstown Road after the worst of Hurricane Sandy's storm passed overnight in Pikesville.

The wind and rain from Hurricane Sandy are increasing as Monday wears on.

But things are only expected to get worse tonight, when wind gusts reach as high as 70 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
