Baltimore Hebrew Congregation had a booth Sunday during the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce's fall festival at Quarry Lake. The synagogue handed out flyers of Yom Kippur events and other programs, and held a game: guess the number of raisins in this challah. The Orioles Bird and McGruff The Crime Dog greeted hundreds of visitors to the Quarry Lake fall fest.

It was the first, full day of autumn when the Orioles Bird and and McGruff The Crime Dog greeted visitors to the second annual Morgan Stanley Quarry Lake Fall Fest.

The weather was sunny and breezy Sunday, and about 70 vendors were set up along Quarry Lake Drive, including the Maryland Artisan Guild, Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Island Quizine, and the Pikesville Police & Community Relations Council.

Two bands took the stage, and there were two dozen Corvettes to view from two different clubs.

The proceeds benefitted the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce.

Thanks, Ronda Smallwood, for contributing the photo of McGruff and the Orioles Bird. Note to Pikesville Patch readers: Do you have photos from the festival? You can upload them them to this article.
