Officials cut the ribbon Monday on three years worth of renovations at Milford Mill Academy.
Superintendent S. Dallas Dance and state officials attended the event, which included tours and performances at the high school, ABC2 reports.
“It’s bringing Milford Mill into the 21st century,” Roderick Harden Sr., the school's principal, told WJZ.
The Milford Mill project resulted in a new 4,800-square-foot addition that includes a new gymnasium and renovations to the school’s cosmetology, carpentry and other technology labs, media center, auditorium, black box theater and general purpose classrooms. The work also included new heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
