Camp Fretterd Military Reservation in Reisterstown held a Fallen Warrior Memorial for members of the National Guard that died on 9/11 and in the war on terror on Saturday, Sept. 8. Those honored in the wreath-laying ceremony included:

  • Chief Warrant Officer William Ruth - Died Sept.11, 2001 at the Pentagon,
    Arlington, Va.
  • Staff Sgt. Kenneth Cropper - Died March 20, 2002, at Ft. Myer, Va.
  • Pvt. Carlton Newman - Died March 3, 2005, at Ft. Stewart, Georgia
  • Spc. Samuel Boswell - Died Oct. 14, 2005, at Al Taji, Iraq
  • Cpl. Bernard Ceo - Died Oct.14, 2005, at Al Taji, Iraq
  • Staff Sgt. Brian Connor - Died Oct. 14, 2005, at Al Taji, Iraq
  • Staff Sgt. Michael McMullen - Died Jan. 10, 2006, from injuries he suffered
    in Ramadi, Iraq
  • Command Sgt. Maj. Roger Haller - Died Jan. 20, 2007, in Baghdad
  • Sgt. 1st Class Collin Bowen - Died Jan.14, 2008, from injuries he suffered
    in Khost province of Afghanistan
  • Sgt. 1st Class William B. Woods - Died Aug. 16, 2009, of wounds sustained in Ghazni, Afghanistan
  • Staff Sgt. Matthew A. Pucino - Died Nov. 23, 2009, in Pashay Kala,
    Afghanistan
  • Maj. Robert J. Marchanti II - Died Feb. 25, 2012, in Kabul, Afghanistan
