The county police are searching for a man involved in a Catonsville burglary and want help finding him.
A resident came back to his home in the 600 block of North Bend Road and found a man trying to break into the front door.
When the resident confronted the suspect, the suspect ran, according to police. However, the resident was able to take a picture of the burglar with his cell phone.
Police are looking for a black male, 40 to 50 years old, and about 5-foot-8. He weighs about 220 pounds. Police say the man was seen carrying a set of hedge trimmers or bolt cutters with a blue nylon bag.
Police ask anyone with information about a possible suspect in the case to call 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.

Great thinking on the victim's part to have snapped a photo of the would-be burglar. Great idea of the police and Patch for using modern day technology to distribute the photo. I hope the guy is found and charged.
