Light Snow Falls on Baltimore Area
Forecasters call for 1.6 inches by the day's end.
It wasn't even enough to cover the grass, but snow was on the ground when Baltimore woke up Saturday morning.
The overnight coating was not an impact on the roads. Many streets appear clear, and traffic is moving smoothly.
By 8:30 a.m., the snow had turned to flurries. Accuweather predicts a couple of squalls passing through the area Saturday afternoon, and possibly this evening, with a total of 1.6 inches expected to fall.
