Where/When: Beth El Congregation, 9 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: The evening starts with services, and afterward, stick around for a screening of "18 Voices Sing Kol Nidre—The Secrets of a Sacred Chant From Those That Have Been Touched By It." Following that is a reception for everyone.

PARENTING BEYOND BELIEF SEMINAR
Where/When: Baltimore Homeschool Community Center, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
Why Go: The Community of Ethical People is hosting this seminar that will teach you how to parent secularly in a religious world.

MT. WASHINGTON WINE ART & JAZZ FESTIVAL
Where/When: Quarry Lake Drive, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Why Go: What could be better than wine, beer and live music all in one place? On top of that, there will be vendors, a car show and even more, such as a moon bounce for the kids and a special appearance by the Orioles bird.
