Fourth of July is just a few weeks away, so Baltimore County has put together a list of fireworks displays.
The list includes all displays that, as of June 13, have gotten permits from state and local fire officials, according to a news release from the county.
Here are the two listed in Pikesville. Both are set for July 3, and both have rain dates of July 5. They usually begin later at night.
These are private displays, but Patch contributor Jeff Seidel has some tips for watching the displays within Pikesville. These areas include parking lots near the Woodholme Country Club by Reisterstown Road.
Other, public displays nearby include:
- Oregon Ridge Park, 13401 Beaver Dam Rd., Cockeysville. July 3 (rain date July 5)
- Catonsville High School, 421 Bloomsbury Ave., Catonsville. July 4 (rain date: July 7)
Note that backyard use of fireworks without a permit is illegal in Maryland, the county release states. However, some ground-based and hand-held sparklers are legal.
