There are no official mayors in Baltimore County.

But Pikesville needs one—at least an honorary one.

Traditionally the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce's executive director is often known as the mayor of Pikesville.

Jessica Hirsh Normington holds that position, and Facebook fans have nominated her, as well as others for mayor of Pikesville Patch.

Vote for your choice for mayor below. This is an honorary, title-only position.

Voting will end at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, and the mayor will be announced Sept. 12.

Did we miss someone? Nominate them in the comments section below this story, and, after review, we can add the name.

Cheryl, If I am elected you will certainly be my publicity agent! I adore your smart observations and incredible wit. I am so flattered to have been nominated! I try my best to know everyone and find something special about each person I encounter.

I tried to vote a second time.
I voted for Jill first, but I tried to vote for Ross aka Toss for a second vote because I felt bad because he has a zero point zero. The rest of them I don't care about. Someone vote for Ross aka Toss so he will be eligible to run again in for years.

Janet, I don't think out town votes should count. I can't vote for mayor in Vegas

Janet - Both of my out of town votes came from people born and raised in Pikesville. They still have family here. They count.

This is an honorary title for mayor of Pikesville Patch, a publication for everyone who knows Pikesville, or lives in Pikesville, So, even people reading from out of town can vote or nominate a candidate.
