The truck was a small dump truck, he said, and it crashed through the front door and windows, from Pikesville's main street, Reisterstown Road.

The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. Monday, Armacost said.

The restaurant, located at 1010 Reisterstown Road, will not be open today, but it might open Tuesday, Khadra said.

The Pikesville precinct of Baltimore County police was the first responder on the scene, but the department's Commercial Vehicle Safety Unit is handling the investigation.

Mari Luna is in the district of downtown Pikesville that is part of the county's Pikesville Redevelopment Plan. It's newer construction meets Pikesville Streetscape Guidelines.
