County Offices Closed Election Day

Trash and recycling collection will resume as scheduled.

 

Baltimore County government offices, and the District and Circuit Courts, will be closed Tuesday for Election Day.

Additionally, health department clinics, senior centers and CountyRide vans will also be not be open, according to a county news release. 

Trash and recyclables will be collected as typically scheduled. Libararies will also operate during normal hours.

Other than the buildings where the polling actually takes place, why do all these other County functions need to be closed??? Another fine example of our tax dollars being wasted!

What are the hours for voting? I expected that Patch would list all the neighborhood voting locations, hours, and League of Women Voter phone numbers, etc... That would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

Maureen, the voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the Maryland State Board of Elections website. Here's info on finding your polling place, as well as sample ballots and a link to results: http://patch.com/A-zs5J
