It's the beginning of another happy hour at Starbucks at Quarry Lake.

Through May 13, Starbucks is offering half-price frappuccinos from 3-5 p.m. The event is also known by Starbucks staff as "frappy hour."

A frappuccino is a thick, icy coffee drink in flavors such as mocha cookie crumble, caramel, and cinnamon dulce.

Pikesville Patch is putting together stories for the afternoon at the Quarry Lake shop, 2520 Quarry Lake Drive, Pikesville.

Stop by through 5 p.m. to say hello or discuss issues of importance to Pikesville.

Patio seating report: The umbrellas are open, there's occasional sun, a constant, light wind and a temperature of about 61 degrees. As of 3:20 p.m., most outdoor seats were open for a comfortable, afternoon break.
