Burglars Use Crowbar to Steal Cash from Deli

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Steel doors and a locked cash register didn't stop burglars at the Knish Shop in Pikesville, authorities said.

Between 1:34 and 1:38 a.m. on Thursday, two men in black ski masks pried open the rear doors with a crowbar and then pried open the register, police said.

They took a cash drawer with $750 and a change bag with about $100 from the deli at 508 Reisterstown Road, according to a police report.
