Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. is under construction at Hooks Village in Pikesville, but there's no opening date set for the franchise, according to a representative of its corporate office in Boca Raton, FL.

At the site is new, permanent signage, as well as a banner that states the store has some jobs available.

"Now Hiring: Inquire within for applications and interview dates," it states.

According to the company website, The restaurant offers bagels made with "Brooklynized water" that produces "a distinctive Brooklyn bagel anywhere in the world."

Generally, the menu offers Bagelwiches, Brooklyn Pizza Melts, egg sandwiches, soups and Original Scooper Melts, including a classic corned beef Reuben, according to the website.
