Body of Young Male Found in Finksburg

Public safety officials are on the scene.

 

UPDATE (10:05 p.m.)—A man's body was found in Finksburg Tuesday morning, and has been identified as Justin A. Ogle, 20, of the 6100 block of Lori Lane, Elkridge.

According to a news release from Maryland State Police, his body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.

An autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death, it states.

At about 7 a.m. Tuesday, a runner was on Patapsco Road, just east of Bethel Road. "She saw the body of a man lying on the bank between the roadway and a pasture," the release stated. She contacted a nearby resident who called 911.

Ogle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The body of what appears to be a 20-year-old male was found in Finksburg Tuesday morning, police said.

Carroll County Sheriff Department Major Phil Kasten said police received a call just before 9 a.m. reporting a body on the side of Patapsco Road near Bethel Road in Finksburg. 

Investigators from the sheriff's department, state police and the state's attorney's office are on the scene.

UPDATE—Police have identified the body found in Finksburg. State Police say it's a 20-year old Elkridge man.
