Blog: Donate Books to Help City School Libraries

Four renovated schools, classrooms and home libraries in Baltimore need new, hardcover books for children ages 3-14, according to The Associated's Jewish Baltimore Blog.

Books are vital to education and four public school libraries and children in Baltimore City could use some more of them, according to a blog post by The Associated.

Help by donating money or new, hardcover books for children ages 3-14 to the Library Project Book Drive, spearheaded by The Weinberg Foundation and Baltimore Reads.

For more information, read the blog post, or visit The Associated's Book Drive website that includes a list of suggested books.

Donations can be dropped off at the Weinberg Park Heights JCC, 5700 Park Heights Ave., throughout the month of March—National Reading Month.

Also, collection bins in Pikesville are at: Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Beth El Congregation, Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, The Estates, Krieger Schechter Day School, and Courtland Gardens.

There are also dozens of other collection sites.
