Olympians To Be Honored Monday at Public Ceremony
Maryland, Baltimore County and Baltimore City officials will lead the ceremony at 4 p.m. Monday at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater at Light and Pratt streets.

Maryland Olympians, including swimmer Michael Phelps, will be honored during a ceremony Monday in Baltimore.
The event also honors Maryland's Paralympians and is open to the public. It begins at 4 p.m. in the Inner Harbor Amphitheater at Light and Pratt streets.
Gov. Martin O'Malley, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will lead the event.
The Baltimore County Police Department Honor Guard will present colors at the show's start, according to a news release from Kamenetz's office.
Towson High School is Phelps' alma mater, and its marching band will perform.
"Baltimore County is 'busting at the seams' with pride for Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time," Kamenetz said in a statement.
The county's Olympians and Paralympians who will be honored are:
- Olympian Michael Phelps, swimming
- Olympian Suzanne Stettinius, pentathlon
- Paralympian Jessica Long, swimming
- Paralympian Markeith Price, track and field
- Paralympian Rebecca Meyers, swimming
