2 Men Killed in Pikesville Shooting

The two victims were shot around 1:35 a.m. at a bar in the 1300 block of Reisterstown Road.

Two men were shot and killed outside a bar in the 1300 block of Reisterstown Road early Sunday, Baltimore County police said.

The two men were killed at around 1:35 a.m. outside a bar the police identified as Pasticcio located at 1330 Reisterstown Road. One man died at the scene. It is unclear where the other man died.

The downtown Pikesville bar, Paradiso Italian Grill and Bar, is the former site of the now-defunct Pasticcio, located near The Alley Shops on Pikesville's main thoroughfare.

While Paradiso's restaurant entrance faces Reisterstown Road, the carry-out parking and the carry-out entrance is in the alley, along with several shops.

The shooting is being investigated as a double homicide by the county's homicide unit.

There have been no arrests and no suspects in the case.

Is there suddenly a lot of crime in Pikesville or is Pikesville Patch doing a good job of covering what goes on in this community?

Jackie, it's both. But unbelieveable that there have been 3 murders along the Pikesville commercial "downtown" strip within a few weeks.

You may have seen witnesses coming along to the police station for questioning, or suspects. But seeing someone get into a police car doesn't mean there were charges, or that someone was actually arrested.

I saw police milling around a dead body around 6:25am Sunday in a parking lot in the rear of those shops. Was that connected or is that another murder case? If it's connected why would the body still be there 4 hours after the article says the bodies were discovered? If different any details on that case?
