GBMC Physician, Pikesville Resident Receives Recognition
Janet Sunness, M.D., Medical Director of Hoover Rehabilitation Services for Low Vision and Blindness at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, has been recognized with a Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology for her many professional contributions to AAO. A resident of Pikesville and an NIH-funded researcher, Dr. Sunness is a medical retina and low vision specialist with a special interest in macular degeneration.
