Community Bereavement Groups To Begin in January

For anyone mourning the death of a loved one, Jewish Community Services (JCS) and its partners are offering two Community Bereavement Groups this winter, one in Baltimore County and one in Baltimore City.

A group sponsored by JCS and the Jewish Community Center (JCC) begins on Wednesday, January 23, at the JCS office in Owings Mills, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue (at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC).

A second group, sponsored by JCS and Seasons Hospice, begins on Thursday, January 24, at Jewish Community Services, 5750 Park Heights Avenue in Baltimore.

Both groups meet for eight weeks and are free of charge. Pre-registration is required.

Bereavement groups provide a welcoming place where participants can be with others who are grieving, find support within the community, and benefit from the opportunity to talk with specialists about grief.

For more information, schedule, and registration, please call Jewish Community Services, 410-466-9200.

JCS is an agency of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.
