This fall, join the Baltimore Board of Rabbis for a series of 22 new courses that engage participants in learning conversations about Judaism.
These courses will be taught by Baltimore rabbis from all denominations.
The board is an agency of The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.
Beginning Oct. 11 and running every Thursday through Nov. 5 at Temple Oheb Shalom, the Adult Institute encourages a deeper consideration of many aspects of Judaism.
Several of the topics that will be explored include Judaism as a Spiritual Practice, Biblical J-Date and Visual Arts as Midrash.
Keynote speaker Rabbi David Fohrman from the Hoffberger Institute for Torah Studies kicks off the series with the question, “Does Judaism believe in tolerance? Or is it just good policy to pretend it does?”
Cost for this four-week series is $30 per adult and $12 per student. Registrations submitted before September 14 will receive a 10 percent discount.
