The assembly line was held at the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Jewish Community Center in Park Heights. On Christmas Day Dec. 25, about 1,000 volunteers worked in soup kitchens, put together winter care packages and more.
It was the eighth annual Mitzvah Day event, held at the Park Heights JCC and at non-profit organizations throughout the Baltimore Metro area.
